Project overview.

Hull College required a refreshed interior environment that would inspire students and staff while aligning with its long-term sustainability goals. The brief focused on modernising key learning spaces across the campus without interrupting day-to-day teaching or resorting to costly replacement works.

Wrap Interiors supported the college across a long-term programme of interior upgrades, applying architectural wrapping and graphics to deliver a clean, efficient and visually impactful solution.

Creating inspiring learning environments.

The project included the design and installation of wall and window graphics across classrooms, corridors and shared spaces. These elements introduced colour, energy and positive messaging, helping to create environments that feel engaging, modern and reflective of the college’s creative identity.

Architectural wrapping was also used to refresh existing surfaces, ensuring consistency across different areas of the campus while maintaining a high-quality, professional finish.

A sustainable approach to refurbishment.

Rather than removing and replacing furniture and fittings, many existing elements were assessed and retained. Desks, fixtures and surfaces that were structurally sound but visually tired were refreshed using architectural films, extending their lifespan and reducing material waste.

This approach supported Hull College’s sustainability objectives while avoiding the mess, noise and disruption associated with traditional refurbishment methods.

Installation within a live educational setting.

Working within an active educational environment required careful planning and coordination. All works were scheduled to minimise disruption, allowing teaching and learning to continue throughout the installation process.

Architectural wrapping enabled a clean, quiet installation with no wet paint, dust or prolonged downtime, ensuring the campus remained fully operational at all times.

The completed works have transformed key areas of the college into brighter, more engaging spaces that support creativity, focus and student wellbeing. The refreshed interiors demonstrate how architectural wrapping can deliver meaningful visual change while remaining practical, efficient and sustainable.

This ongoing programme highlights the value of interior wrapping as a long-term solution for educational environments seeking flexibility, durability and minimal disruption.
